Week 1 of Rivals Fantasy delivered exactly what we expected: chaos, blowouts, heartbreaks, and nail-biters that went all the way to Monday Night Football. While a few matchups ended in decisive fashion, some came down to the smallest margins possible — setting the tone for what looks like an electric season ahead.
Matchup of the Week: Kravin vs MitchPicks
The undisputed showdown of the week was Kravin vs MitchPicks. Both squads traded blows all weekend before MNF settled it. Losers: MitchPicks — nothing stings more than a sub-1 point loss. ChampReaperLight, TheBigShow and RigoSuave also have to regroup quickly after huge blowouts.
Waiver Wire Frenzy
The first week of waivers didn’t disappoint as managers scrambled to patch holes and add upside:
– TheBigShow made the splash of the week, scooping up Hollywood Brown.
– JPup landed resurgent WR Quentin Johnston, betting on breakout potential.
– TE was a hot commodity: FoodRescue grabbed Brenton Strange, MFokus added Juwan Johnson, and Harold Fanin boosted depth with another pickup.
